Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving any issues. Engage in upselling techniques to promote store products and enhance sales. Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist in merchandising efforts by displaying products effectively at the register. Support inventory management through stocking shelves and monitoring product levels. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Experience Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Supervising experience is beneficial for those looking to advance within the company. Strong communication skills, basic math skills, and knowledge of retail math are essential for this role. Experience in cash handling and providing excellent customer service is required.
