Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide friendly and professional customer service, including answering questions and assisting with product inquiries Manage cash handling duties with precision, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Upsell relevant products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and participating in stock counts Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing sales or customer service teams Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base effectively Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in busy settings Knowledge of grocery store operations, including product placement and stock management, is advantageous Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding retail experiences!
