Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced quick serve environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, maintaining accurate cash drawers, and assisting with various store operations. Duties Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations. Uphold store policies and procedures regarding returns, exchanges, and other customer service issues. Demonstrate basic math skills to accurately process transactions and provide change. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Proficient in cash handling and familiar with POS systems. Basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as needed.
