Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Deliver friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries with clear communication and courtesy Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product, explaining features and benefits to enhance their experience Upsell related products to increase sales and meet store targets while maintaining a helpful attitude Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through other communication channels Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Prior supervising or team-leading experience in retail environments Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers Experience in grocery stores or similar retail settings is a plus Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product placement techniques Customer service excellence with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for daily tasks and sales calculations Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining genuine customer engagement Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication standards This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant cafe environment where your skills directly contribute to customer satisfaction and store success.
