Cashier - Part-Time (24.5 Hours)

Reports To:

Director of Food Services Job Purpose:

To assist the Head Cashier with daily deposits and day end reporting.

Qualifications-Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent Displays a positive, courteous attitude towards all students Ability to speak and understand English Excellent attendance and work ethic Is clean, well groomed, and wears the proper attire at all times as per the uniform policy Exhibits a helpful, positive, and friendly attitude towards all associates Knowledge of the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act Able to pass the Criminal History Review Ability to pass the Sexual Misconduct Child Abuse Disclosure Ability to pass the pre-employment physical exam

Qualifications-Desired:

2-3 years of experience working in a school cafeteria 2-3 years of experience working as a cafeteria worker

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensures students and customers are moving at a steady pace Ensures that the State of New Jersey Department of Child Nutrition guidelines are met when claiming meals Assists Head Cashier with daily deposits and day end reports Assists in all other cafeteria duties as needed

Working Conditions:

School Building Cafeteria Starting Salary $16.95/hr (base) + $1/hr (Cashier) Retirement Benefits through
