Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Person, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. In this role, you will be the face of our store, helping customers find the products they need, demonstrating features, and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell complementary products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation and easy product access Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation and safety checks Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are a plus) Experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and standing for extended periods Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a friendly, helpful attitude Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
