In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream and other frozen treats. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their experience is memorable. Responsibilities Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with a smile, ensuring accurate portion sizes. Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently, including handling cash and credit card payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment. Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure availability of products. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and promote special offers or new flavors. Support team members in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area for guests. Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
