Cage Cashier Lead

Summary:

Cage Cashier - Leads are responsible for overseeing cash handling and employees in the Cage and must be able to adhere to and follow Nevada State Gaming Control and in-house casino policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Audits/rectifies casino transactions as needed Places orders for cigarettes, office supplies, and other items for the casino Creates effective schedules for Cage employees with General Manager and/or Operations Managers guidance Handles Guest Service issues as needed Helps to prepare and may deliver Disciplinary Actions as needed for Cage employees Attends required meetings Conducts an inventory of all cash and its equivalents Be knowledgeable of and able to explain/promote all Casino and Marketing events Ensures that all transactions balance, and deliver necessary paperwork to Accounting Oversees and trains all Cage an Drop Team employees

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Two years' Cage Cashier experience, preferred One year Management in a casino environment, preferred

Language Ability:

Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language

Math Ability:

Excellent math skills; ability to calculate money accurately

Certificates and Licenses:

Gaming Registration with the

Nevada Gaming Control Board Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 25lbs Ability to work in a noisy, smoky casino environment Ability to work in a small, confined, office-type setting

Knowledge/Skills:
