About us Food For Thought is a small business serving the Garden City community for over 40 years. We serve anything from juices, smoothies, acai bowls, soups, salads, sandwiches and more! We are professional, agile, and customer-centric and our goal is to provide excellent customer service in a clean, healthy, and positive atmosphere.
Our work environment includes:
Food provided On-the-job training EOY Bonus We are looking for a Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and Fluency in English is a must. Job seekers should have 2-3 years of experience as a cashier.Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products and services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Fluency in English is a must
