JOB FUNCTION
Incumbent is responsible for the sales of all bingo paper, instants and electronic bingo devices on the bingo floor and at the register. Responsible for large sums of money daily. Provides excellent customer service to guests. Must follow the rules and regulations as set forth by the regulatory bodies. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Seneca Gaming and Entertainment's policies and procedures, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, and SGA Tribal Internal Control Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greet guests and make them feel welcome. Present themselves with the utmost professionalism. 2. Sell products to guests as they require them at the cashier stations and on the bingo floor. 3. Answer any questions guests may have and direct them to the proper areas. 4. Keep current on the complete schedule and programming of operating hours, and any upcoming special games; including pricing booklets, specials, and prize structure. 5. Issue/Return products to be sold from the Bingo Inventory Department as required. 6. Verify winner(s) by calling back proper numbers to the Bingo Caller. 7. Obtain and recount the startup bank from the Vault room. 8. Count products and money for periodic drops to the Vault room. 9. At the end of each shift, count final drop and return start up bank to the Vault room. 10. Responsible for large amounts of money on a daily basis, check for counterfeit. 11. Complete all necessary daily paperwork for variances procedures. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service experience preferred. Must possess excellent math skills. A positive personality and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment a plus! Experience with computers necessary.
