Cashier (Part Time, Daytime Shift)

Your Day-to-Day Ring out and bag customers items at checkout carefully and efficiently.

Provide excellent customer service.

Be familiar with the register POS system and specific Universal Price Codes (UPC`s)Be familiar with the store layout and the whereabouts of different itemsCarefully and accurately manage and count your cash drawer at the start and remainder of your shiftIf assigned; help out in other departments when neededIf assigned; assist the self-checkout stationsWhat you bring to the FarmAbility to learn and operate Adams point of sale systemsSustain a clean and organized workspaceWillingness to learn and demonstrate Adams culture and valuesWillingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managersExhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams products and qualityWorking ConditionsConsistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of your shift.

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $16.00 - $22.40. At Adams, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
