Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or product demos when needed Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Ensure excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support store operations by assisting with stocking, merchandising, and inventory management Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transaction processing Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities on the sales floor Ability to conduct product demos confidently to engage customers and promote items Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills for clear interactions with customers and team members Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive relationships Experience in merchandising, stocking, and retail math enhances overall performance in this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels great customer experiences!
