Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently Engage customers with friendly communication, offering product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring accurate transactions and balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and attractive store layout Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, guiding shoppers through products, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support product promotion efforts by demonstrating features and benefits of key items to customers Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and uphold safety standards Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales procedures is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in stocking and merchandising Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions with shoppers Supervising experience is a bonus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our store's success!
