Job Description
Cashier/Customer Service FULL or
PART TIME
with opportunity for additional hours We are a family owned and operated gasoline (Chevron) and convenience store business. We're looking for energetic, team members and a positive work attitude. Our ideal team member enjoys working in a fast paced environment and working independently and with others. Integrity, maturity, honesty and a sense of community are essential to success in this position. Provide exceptional guest service. Be courteous, always greet and thank all customers. Work professionally with vendors and contractors Conduct all cashier activities accurately, safely, while following company guidelines Maintain cash drawer, secure all funds in safes, and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift. Perform consistent station cleaning of the indoor and outdoor facilities. Effectively manage foodservice and beverages. Stock goods and continuously ensure shelves are full of products. Follow federal law and company standards on carding customers for all age restricted products sold at the stations. - Proficiency in basic math and retail math
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a retail store setting
- Bilingual skills and upselling experience are a plus
