Cashiers are responsible for engaging with customers at the entrance of the wash and begin the process of providing fast and friendly service. Commissions are earned through sales of bonus items.
SALES ARE A MANDATORY PART OF THIS POSITION.
Cashiers must be comfortable engaging with customers and upselling services and products. Cashiers handle cash and credit transactions while constantly moving from car to car. This is not a job for the faint of heart. Unlike other cashier positions, you will be moving a lot and you won't be standing in one spot. Come prepared to move. To be successful in this position, you must be able to: Positively and energetically engage and communicate with customers Upsell customers to higher level washes, express details, additional services, gift cards, and our unlimited wash memberships. Quickly understand, retain, and follow directions and Washman procedures Continuously stand, move, and enjoy being outdoors for your entire shift Current Position(s) We Are Hiring For:
1 Car Wash Sales Cashier (Friday-Monday 12:00PM-8:15PM, Tuesday 8:00AM-1:00PM) Sales Cashier Responsibilities Provide excellent and timely customer service to create a pleasant experience for customers. Pro-actively greet customers entering the car wash and be responsive to their needs. Effectively present and sell car wash services, gift cards, and unlimited wash memberships. Complete point of sale transactions including car wash sales, membership enrollments, and gift cards. Effectively use all point-of-sale technology. Maintain point-of-sale transaction, sales, and cash drawer integrity by following procedures accurately. Follow Washman Car Wash policies, procedures, guidance, and instructions, including and especially those related to safety. Housekeeping Carry out assigned duties to keep the car wash clean and attractive. Clean and disinfect the store lot, lobby, offices, restrooms, and equipment. Sweeps, mops, cleans windows, cleans restrooms, restocks general supplies, and empties trash. Perform various administrative tasks, for example safe drops and tracking sales. Perform various transactional functions to meet customer demand and store staffing needs. Various other functions as identified and directed by management.
