Cashier/Gas Attendant

Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments Provide friendly and efficient customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories Assist customers with fueling their vehicles safely and efficiently at the gas pumps, ensuring proper procedures are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, shelves, and fuel station to promote safety and a positive shopping experience Conduct product demos or promotional activities when needed to inform customers about new or featured items Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure inventory levels are maintained for a seamless shopping experience Handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and balance register shifts at the end of each shift Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in retail or grocery store environments preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction processing Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, stocking shelves, and operating fueling equipment safely A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for upselling products and enhancing the overall customer experience Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering outstanding service while building your skills in retail sales, merchandising, and customer engagement.
