Job Description:

Job Summary:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service while accurately processing sales transactions and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. Operately accurately and efficiently handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed. Assist with general store duties, such as cleaning, sweeping, and trash removal. Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints or escalate to management when necessary. Process lottery ticket sales and tobacco product sales in compliance with all regulations. Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

Job Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus. Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
