Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and efficiently Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service through friendly communication and active listening Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Upsell products and promote store specials or new merchandise to enhance sales opportunities Assist with product demos, merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized checkout areas Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and change calculations Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and upselling techniques will enhance performance Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
