Cashier (Part-time)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic crew member to join our team in a fast-paced Dairy Queen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and ensuring the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to restaurant standards while ensuring proper sanitation practices. Operate the POS system for processing transactions and managing orders. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining areas, and equipment. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the customer experience. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is a plus. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and basic retail math. Experience using POS systems is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
