Description We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our convenience store team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. Key responsibilities Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
Operate cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately Verify age for restricted purchases
Scan items, process purchases, and issue receipts
Process lottery sales and winnings accurately
Maintain a clean and organized checkout and beverage/hot food areas
Brew coffee and monitor level.
Stock cups, lids, creamer and sugars, bag and ticket beef jerky
Follow all store policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines
Assist customers with questions, directions and product information
Handle customer concerns or complaints in a courteous manner Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Dependable and punctual
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required Work requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time
