Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demos when needed Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and confidence Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and merchandised Upsell products by highlighting features or promotions to enhance the customer experience Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and inventory management to support store operations Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries over the phone Support customers in a grocery store environment by providing friendly assistance and ensuring satisfaction Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members during busy shifts Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members Experience in upselling, product demos, merchandising, stocking, and retail sales enhances success in this role Ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and provide outstanding customer service consistently Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills make a real difference!
