Role:
Marymoor Park hosts a variety of special events to our diverse community. The primary function of the Event Cashier Lead is to provide excellent customer service while overseeing the collection of parking fees. Leads help monitors traffic flow during events, assures that safety procedures are followed, and communicates with staff and supervisors both during and after the event. Leads also collect parking fees from vehicles as needed, provide general event and park information to patrons and troubleshoot customer service issues. This position provides input on the performance of cashiers and assists with reconciling revenue collected and bank deposits. About theTeam:

Train and equip the cashier team with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to ensure smooth and efficient operations while on duty. Oversee cashiers while in the field, assign locations, designate breaks and assure safety of the team. Collect parking fees from vehicles entering lots. Provide excellent customer service and troubleshoot customer service issues in the field. Perform reconciliation duties, verify revenue totals and prepare bank deposit.Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring:
Minimum two years' experience money handling/cashiering at Marymoor Park events. Skill in providing excellent customer service to a diverse customer base. Ability to provide clear and respectful communications. Basic math skills and money-handling experience with understanding of general accounting procedures. Skill in providing and following oral and written instructions. Skill in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with other employees.Competencies You Bring:

The work schedule for this position is flexible; primarily evenings and weekends depending on the event. This position allows you the option of choosing the events that works best for your schedule. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.Union Representation:

Position requires long hours outdoors in all types of weather. Must have the ability to stand for up to three hours at a time, outdoors, in all weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.Application and Selection Process:
