Duties Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering questions about products and store policies Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase new or featured items Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain clean, organized checkout areas with proper cash handling procedures Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring stock levels meet store standards Support inventory management through stocking, labeling, and inventory counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or internal communication Engage in supervising experience by guiding new team members or helping coordinate team tasks when needed Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience or leadership skills in retail environments Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members in a bilingual setting if applicable Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising principles and stocking best practices in grocery or retail stores Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience Basic math skills necessary for cashiering, retail math calculations, and inventory counts Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
