Cashier

Job Summary Pump N Stuff is looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. We are a busy gas station with convenience items and video lottery machines, so customer service and dependability are very important in this role. We're looking for someone who can work well with customers, handle transactions accurately, and help keep the store clean and stocked throughout their shift. If you are dependable, motivated, and enjoy working with people, we'd love to have you on our team. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process purchases and lottery transactions Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service Handle cash, credit, debit, and digital payments with accuracy and integrity Assist customers with questions and provide help with video lottery machines when needed Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise throughout the store Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, sales floor, and restrooms Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items Follow company procedures for opening, closing, and shift changes Check IDs for age-restricted purchases and follow all store policies Work independently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude Requirements Previous cashier or retail experience preferred, but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light stocking and cleaning duties Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee meals Friendly work environment On-the-job training If you're dependable, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a friendly team, apply today at Pump N Stuff.
