Job Description
Description:
- The restaurant cashier/bartender works under the direction of the Food & Beverage Management team. The primary responsibilities include taking and delivering both food and beverage orders, assisting customers, completing transactions, while providing exceptional service to your guests.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Ensure pricing is correct
- Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
- Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property's cash handling policy
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations and etiquette
- Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area
- Knows all drink items and recipes, menu items, and prices to effectively promote to guests
- Delivers food and beverages to guests
- Runs opening and closing procedures
- Completes closing financial Paperwork
- Re-Stocks working area
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant F&B role
- Hotel experience preferred + Must be ABC liquor certified.
