Duties Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless functioning. Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for cashiering, sales processing, and cash handling with accuracy. Coordinate shift management, scheduling, payroll processing, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and budget monitoring. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency in retail math, merchandising, inventory management software, and POS systems. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management. Experience with employee recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training processes. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and marketing initiatives.
