About the Role As a Cashier, you'll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, processing transactions accurately, and supporting daily store operations. What You'll DoCustomer Service & Checkout Operations Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately Handle cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions Answer customer questions and provide assistance when needed Promote loyalty programs, store promotions, and special offers Ensure customers receive excellent service throughout the checkout process Cash Handling & Accuracy Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout each shift Follow company procedures for payment processing and cash handling Balance transactions and report discrepancies when necessary Store Support Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area Assist with restocking merchandise and store presentation Support team members during busy periods Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment What We're Looking For Friendly and customer-focused attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math and cash-handling abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop new skills Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous retail or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
