Cashier

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle cash and operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system effectively. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. • Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. Proficient in retail math and basic math skills. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls when necessary. Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
