Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a professional phone etiquette Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Assist customers with product inquiries, including conducting product demos and upselling relevant items Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising activities to keep the store inviting and organized Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve issues promptly and courteously Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences Willingness to assist with product demos, merchandising, stocking, and other store operations as needed
