Duties Greet members and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with friendly communication skills. Assist members with gym equipment, product demos, and answering questions about memberships or services. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail sales. Promote gym memberships, personal training sessions, and merchandise through upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness by stocking supplies, merchandising products effectively, and ensuring the gym area is tidy and safe. Enforce gym policies and phone etiquette to ensure a positive experience for all patrons. Support inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock checks, and assisting with merchandising displays. Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, with strong basic math skills for transactions. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in customer service or retail environments. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse community members effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette are essential for engaging with members and team members alike. Experience in product demos or upselling strategies will help maximize sales opportunities.
