Stumpy's Restaurant, a popular lakefront dining destination on Lake Granbury, is seeking friendly and reliable Cashiers to provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing. Cashiers play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for guests while supporting daily front-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Process cash, credit, and electronic payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed Ensure order accuracy before submitting to the kitchen or serving area Maintain a clean and organized cashier and dining service area Handle cash responsibly and balance cash drawer as required Assist with restocking supplies and light cleaning duties Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications & Skills Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods Must be able to work cooperatively with others in a team setting Work Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Flexible scheduling based on business needs
