Position Summary:
Palace Poker is looking for experienced Cage Cashiers who are responsible for exceptional guest service and precise financial transactions. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, skilled in cash handling, and thrive in an upscale, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and team members warmly, ensuring each transaction is handled with professionalism. Create a seamless, luxury financial experience for guests by assisting with inquiries and providing clear, concise explanations of all transactions. Resolve guest concerns quickly and efficiently, anticipating potential service needs. Provide accurate and timely financial assistance, ensuring that each interaction meets the standards of Palace Poker's exclusive club environment. Process cash and chip transactions with speed and accuracy, maintaining an error-free work standard. Accurately count and verify cash drawers, chip transactions, and financial exchanges throughout the shift. Balance daily cash transactions and maintain a precise drawer balance at all times. Conduct vault transactions, ensuring that all financial movements comply with internal security protocols. Verify and process credit card, check, and cash advance transactions, following compliance procedures. Complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), Multiple Transaction Logs (MTLs), and other financial compliance forms as required. Adhere to strict security measures when handling cash, chips, and financial instruments. Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information, financial transactions, and internal processes. Follow anti-money laundering (AML) protocols and assist in financial tracking for compliance purposes. Assist in fraud detection and prevention efforts, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity. Work closely with supervisors and management to maintain operational excellence. Assist in training new team members on standard procedures and service expectations. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented work area that aligns with the club's luxury standards. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of Palace Poker.
Qualifications:
The minimum age for these positions is 21. A minimum of one year experience in casino, club, or high-volume cash-handling environments is required. Proficiency in POS systems, currency counters, and financial reconciliation software (experience with Poker Atlas, POS, or similar systems is a plus). Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform rapid, accurate financial calculations. Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in counting large sums of cash and chips. Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Knowledge of financial compliance, IRS reporting (CTR/MTL), and security procedures is preferred. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. The posted hourly rate does not include tips. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.
