Cashier / Ice Cream Scooping

Whether you're assisting customers at the register or scooping their favorite flavors, your contribution will make each visit special! Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Scoop ice cream and prepare other food items following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and change management Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning utensils, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as topping stations or small kitchen duties when needed Support food industry best practices by adhering to sanitation, safety, and food safety regulations Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Assist with bussing tables or cleaning as part of overall restaurant or café maintenance Skills Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in fast-paced environments like cafes, grocery stores, or restaurants will help you thrive in this role.
