Job Description

VAULT CASHIER HOURLY POSITION
$17.02/HR Must be flexible to work Swing and Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE :
Under the direction of the Cage Manager, the Vault Cashier safeguards the assets of the gaming facility by verifying cash counts for accuracy and in accordance with Naskila Casino policies and standards.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE

N/A ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Ensures that all established MICs, SICs, regulations and procedures are being followed. Maintain coin hoppers, BV's and perform hard balances. Ensure all Kiosks, ATM's and Jackpot Kiosks are impressed at all times. Perform cassette fills and fill coin hoppers. Pull currency from bill validators according to departmental policies and procedures. Perform hard balances of gaming devices in accordance with departmental policy and procedures. Accurately counts vault funds and verifies vault daily. Verifies and accepts funds into assigned bank from cashiers. Maintains accurate records and paperwork Ability to prepare MTLs, CTRs, MILs, Winners Forms, and Suspicious Activity Log when required with training and knowledge. Verifies cashier impressed banks when returned. Verifies supervisor/cashier exchanges for coin or cash. Works as a Cage Cashier when needed. Audits cashier banks when assigned. Provide instruction and assist cashiers when needed. Prepare accurate daily bank deposit. Train current and new Team Members on proper policy and procedures. Attend all mandatory training classes. Model Naskila guest service standards and operation standards, while interacting with guests, fellow Team Members, showing genuine concern and a mutual respect for guests and Team Members' needs. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED. Two (2) years' proven experience as a cashier or in banking.
Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of accounting paperwork Knowledge of internal controls for the Title 31 Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic. Ability to operate Microsoft Office software. Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, predict consequences, and implement recommendations. Ability to operate 10-key and money counter. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of various social and cultural backgrounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to analyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with Team Members at all levels. Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment. Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines. Flexibility to work as needed on all shifts.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies. Must successfully complete an Introductory Period. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner. Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations. Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies. Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable. Practice good personal hygiene. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
