Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and organized. Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end and managing cash transactions securely. Use strong communication skills to handle phone inquiries professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and ensuring products are well-presented on the sales floor. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are a plus, especially in overseeing team members or assisting with training new staff. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cash handling procedures is essential for success in this role.
