Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including sandwiches, salads, and other quick-service offerings. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the café or food service area. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food preparation without compromising quality or safety. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices within quick service or fast-food environments.
