Job Description

Overview MUST BE 21 or above Join our dynamic retail team as a Stocker / Cashier, where you'll play a vital role in creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for maintaining well-stocked shelves, ensuring products are organized and appealing, and providing exceptional customer service at the checkout. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and builds lasting relationships with shoppers. Duties Restock shelves efficiently by organizing products and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards Assist customers with product inquiries, offering helpful recommendations and product demos when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skills Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage stock levels by monitoring inventory, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying management of low supplies Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays, arranging products attractively, and ensuring signage is clear and visible Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus, especially in overseeing stock or cashier teams Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, pricing, and inventory counts Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience conducting product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers and team members Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that drive sales Basic math skills necessary for balancing registers and managing sales transactions efficiently Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference every day!
