Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions quickly and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Manage inventory by conducting stock checks and alerting supervisors about low stock levels Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus Ability to perform basic math quickly for accurate transactions and change calculations Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail math fundamentals Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
