Cashier

O-Ku is a Japanese restaurant located in Roy. We are looking for cashiers who have outgoing personality and thrive in a fast-paced workplace. Smile is a required. Individual must be able to work as a professional team player and be able to multi task. Must be able to work night shifts and holidays.

Duties:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take and pack to-go orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations in a food service setting
