Salon Sales Desk Coordinator (Part-Time) Day Shift Typically 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM OR Evening Shift 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM; Monday-Saturday Job Overview Lotus Nail Spa is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Part-Time Salon Sales Desk Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a luxury experience while keeping salon operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who loves the beauty industry, enjoys customer interaction, and thrives in a structured yet fast-paced environment.
Schedule Part-time position Primary shifts:
6 hours shifts, Monday-Saturday We are seeking someone with schedule flexibility to support peak times and special events Responsibilities Greet clients warmly upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out procedures Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently using our POS system (Phorest) Handle all cash transactions and payment processing with accuracy Provide product recommendations, upsell retail items, and assist with retail sales goals Maintain an organized, visually appealing reception area Restock supplies and merchandise retail products as needed Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and maintain excellent phone etiquette Support the salon team with administrative and retail needs as they arise Requirements Previous customer service experience (salon or retail environment preferred) Familiarity with POS systems (Phorest experience a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident with basic math and accurate cash handling Experience with merchandising, stocking, or product displays Ability to confidently upsell products based on client needs Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele Supervising or lead experience is a plus, along with comfort using retail math to understand sales performance Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend shifts
