Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision while maintaining balanced cash drawers Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling additional items to enhance their purchase Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support the team with basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and totals Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities Ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling, safety procedures, and customer service standards Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering duties in a retail or grocery store environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing adjustments and sales calculations Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a bonus) Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone Skilled in upselling products and conducting engaging product demos to boost sales Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Basic math skills for cash handling, totaling transactions, and giving correct change Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and patience when assisting shoppers Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous for understanding store flow and product placement Join us as a Cashier and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding service!
