Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, assisting with product demos, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience at our station. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales and foster customer loyalty. Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with clear communication skills Perform cashier duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate sales records Assist customers with product demos, upselling items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively Ensure the gas pumps are functioning properly and assist customers with fueling needs Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store or convenience store settings Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Ability to supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or merchandise Join our team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment!
