Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with integrity and attention to detail Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies as needed Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and organizing displays Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Skills Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for mentoring new team members Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities for diverse customer interactions Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a friendly approach Basic math skills for balancing registers and processing transactions efficiently Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
