  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our food service team at Precarious!
In this vital role, you will be the friendly face at the register, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for every customer. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment while efficiently handling transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer skills, demonstrate product knowledge, and contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional service. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and securely Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing questions and resolving issues with a positive attitude Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and adherence to cash handling procedures Experience Previous food service experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and safe food handling procedures Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership development within the team Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Ability to multitask in a busy environment is a huge plus!
