Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with wine selections, offering recommendations based on preferences and occasions Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wine shop, including stocking shelves and rotating inventory Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices during tastings or related activities Assist with event setups such as tastings, banquets, or catering functions, ensuring seamless service delivery Manage time effectively to handle multiple customer interactions while maintaining high service standards Skills Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling accuracy Knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling procedures in a retail or hospitality setting Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings is a plus Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Familiarity with the food industry, restaurant experience, or retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role Embark on a dynamic journey in the world of wine retail where your passion for hospitality meets professional growth.
