Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Front End Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product demos when needed Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and appealing store layout Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support in supervising team members during busy periods, ensuring efficient checkout flow and customer satisfaction Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills and the ability to provide friendly, professional customer service Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with customers confidently
