Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform daily cash handling duties securely Upsell products and promote store specials or promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product demos are available when needed Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store aisles Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts Follow phone etiquette protocols when taking orders or answering customer questions over the phone Experience Previous cashiering experience in retail, grocery store, or convenience store environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and sales calculations Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members during shifts or training new staff Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members confidently Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, or upselling techniques is advantageous Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail sales practices will help you excel in this role Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while growing your skills in a fast-paced retail environment!
