Currently hiring summer team for Appalachian Eats and Treats, fromerly the Sweet Spot at Canyon Rime Gifts. We are seeking to hire friendly and energetic people to meet and greet visitors, serve hand dipped ice cream, milkshakes, promote our homemade fudge by giving free samples as well as prepare and serve a small to go menu of Appalachian flavored lunch items (new this season!). We make our own fudge weekly so you will get to be a taste tester each and every week when the new flavors roll out. Ideal candidates will be able to multi task and work in a fast paced envioroment at times as well as find things to do in our down time. Self motivated, task oriented, utilization of lists, following directions, stocking inventory and sales are part of the territory. Our Sweet Shop is adjacent to our 4000 square foot Gift Shop located across the street from the New River Gorge National Park Visitor's Center. We are open every day from 10 am until 5 pm until the summer and then we open from 9 am until 6 pm daily. This is not a seasonal position as we are open throughout the year. Weekend availability is a must!
