3-month contract-to-hire Reports to: Founder / CEO About the company Our client is a growing security services company focused on advanced physical security and surveillance solutions — AI-driven camera monitoring, drone detection, and integrated access control for high-end residential, commercial, and government clients. This role will lead the transition and ongoing account management for an acquired portfolio of security clients and play a central role in shaping operations and growth. Role summary We're hiring a disciplined, technically curious leader to act as the primary point of contact for our security client portfolio. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial position combining client transition and account ownership, technician coordination, ERP administration, and business development. Ideal candidates come from elite military backgrounds (special forces / Navy SEALs or equivalent) and bring strong communication, leadership, and people skills. Key responsibilities Be the primary point of contact (POC) for an assigned book of security clients through transition and ongoing service.
Lead client outreach and onboarding:
make scripted outreach calls, explain transition, address questions, and build trust. Enter and manage client/system data in a specialized security ERP; coordinate with accounting for billing setup and accuracy. Manage scheduling, dispatch, and oversight of technicians and subcontractors for service requests and installations. Deliver high-quality customer service and rapid issue resolution to maintain client satisfaction. Represent company at networking and industry events; pursue business development and referral opportunities. Learn and communicate product capabilities (drone detection, AI camera analytics, other security tech) to clients and prospects. Help develop operational processes and scale the security operations team over time. Day-to-day Majority of time (~60-80%) on client outreach, transition conversations, and relationship management. Regular ERP administrative work and coordination with accounting/tech teams. Field visits and on-site client meetings across the DC metro area (requires reliable transportation). Technician coordination and service oversight. Periodic business development outreach and attendance at 3 networking/events per month (approx). Required qualifications Elite military background required (special forces, Navy SEALs, or equivalent experience) — a must-have for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer-facing presence and persuasion skills. Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and high character. Comfort with technology and basic electronics; ability to learn new tools and systems quickly. Some technical or engineering exposure (telecommunications, comms, electronics, systems engineering or similar). Experience managing or coordinating technicians, field teams, or subcontractors. Proven relationship-building skills and a sales/service mindset for client outreach and referrals. Must have reliable personal transportation for local travel. Nice to have Prior security industry experience (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, field-service work). Familiarity with security-specific ERP or field-service management software. Experience with drone detection, AI-based video analytics, or related security technologies. Prior business development or event-driven networking experience.
