Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to introduce our organization's services or initiatives to residents and local businesses. Communicate clearly and persuasively, emphasizing the value of our programs while listening actively to community feedback. Build rapport with diverse audiences using strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Identify potential supporters or clients, answer questions about our offerings, and provide detailed information tailored to each individual's needs. Utilize bilingual skills when necessary to effectively engage with non-English speaking community members. Maintain accurate records of interactions, including contact information and feedback received during outreach efforts. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to strategize outreach approaches and share insights for continuous improvement. Experience Prior experience in canvassing, door-to-door sales, telemarketing, or community outreach is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively. Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership roles within outreach teams. Background in marketing, customer service, or fundraising enhances your ability to connect authentically with community members. Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is highly desirable to broaden outreach capabilities.
